We estimate a wastage of approximately 5% during production so please take this into account when supplying your product for canning.
We use both Wild Goose Gosling and Wild Goose Evolutions Series canning machines. With these, we can process up to 50 cans per minute!

Yes, currently we fill a minimum of 6,000 litres. With such a small minimum, we help small to mid-sized drinks companies access a new market trend by selling their drinks in cans! We also offer canning samples of 5-20 litres of your product. This is available for a flat fee of €1500.

Unlike as easy we make canning drinks, this is a tricky question to answer. Equipped with two canning machines and our can-do attitude, we want to say…fast! However, it all really depends on our current in-house or external orders. We recommend getting in touch with us as soon as you can so we can set a realistic timeline for you, so no one is disappointed.

Yes, they are! Our Ardagh Group cans exceed the global standard of being 70% recyclable. As a material, aluminium is infinitely recyclable so therefore is better than glass. The biggest thing, however, is that cans have smaller carbon footprint than bottles. Cans are lighter and easier to transport, reducing CO₂ during transportation before and after the canning process.
Well, why not? Firstly, if you’re already distributing your drinks in bottles then canning it helps you expand existing markets or even open up a new one! This was certainly true for us with Kiss of Wine, our canned wine business. Cans offer a smaller, more durable and lightweight option for your customers, making them travel and picnic-friendly. The smaller size is also less of a commitment to a customer just wanting a taste. Other selling points to cans? Drinks cool faster and they block 100% of light meaning they tend to extend the shelf life of most drinks. From a production point of view, cans are also cheaper, and easier and safer to handle than glass or bottles. They’re also better for the environment — we talk about that more below.
No. Canning wine is our origins, so we know it best, but we’re into all canned drinks! We can cocktails, spritzers, tea and beer — basically any drink!
We offer a range of conventional labels as well as fully printed cans. Pre-printed cans are available with a minimum order of 3,000 in 250ml, 330ml, 440ml sizes. Other sizes are available with a minimum order of 150,000. Printed cans allow for designs that utilise the full surface and can have matte, gloss or metallic finishes. Our traditional labels are water-resistant with multiple print processes and materials available. Labels leave a small gap at the top and bottom of the can. Contact us for more information.

Canning wine has become a trend in recent years, and for good reason. In addition to the advantages described above for the taste and shelf life of the wine, cans are lighter and easier to transport. The risk of breakage is significantly lower than with bottles, and the aluminum used is infinitely recyclable. All things considered, canning is an environmentally friendly way to bottle your wine. Customers, on the other hand, are happy to be able to buy wine in cans. The smaller quantities are a good sample size and are ideal to take with you, for example for an outdoor meal.
